‘Red Bull’ is a compact begonia, but with its flashy metallic red leaves, it will certainly grab your attention. Full of festive colour, this plant will stand out wherever you put it, but it prefers a spot that gets bright, indirect light. On a shelf or side table in a sunny room would be perfect. Avoid harsh direct sunshine as this can burn the delicate leaves.
Begonia ‘Red Bull’ isn’t particularly demanding. It’s fairly drought-tolerant, so give it a thorough water when the top two inches of soil feel dry. Just remember to water the soil, not the leaves - they’re a bit sensitive. You can give your begonia ‘Red Bull’ a nutrient boost in spring and summer with a diluted dose of liquid fertiliser once a month.
This small plant brings bundles of fun, perfect for adding a dash of colour to your home.
